  35. Executive shouldn't be scheduling any of these tasks.
  36. Check your Executive prefs. The catch range should have a maximum of
  37. about 2. So input.device's default priority of 20 should not be
  38. scheduled.
  39. Get a program like PRIMAN to look at the real prioritys of your tasks.
  40. You should find that most device drivers have a priorty of 5 so
  41. Executive should not touch them at all.

  43. How are you measuring your throughput ?
  44. If its a FTP/WWW connection then you may need to raise the priority of
  45. your Browser/FTP client, or make it less 'nice'.
